About Vaughn Parchment

Vaughn Parchment is an Associate in the Firm’s New Jersey office, where he works on matters of real estate, finance, and land use.

Vaughn was previously an Associate at a public entity firm, where he specialized in governmental, land use, labor, and employment matters. Additionally, Vaughn served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Orange Township, where he handled legislation, contract drafting, and negotiations. He also acted as liaison to personnel regarding disciplinary matters and ensured compliance with the Open Public Records Act (OPRA).

Vaughn served as a law clerk for the Honorable James Jukes, J.S.C., in the Essex County Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Part where he performed legal research on family law issues, prepared trial and bench memorandums, calculated child support based on the New Jersey Child Support Guidelines, and facilitated settlement conferences.

A Hampton University graduate, Vaughn received a B.A. in Psychology. In addition, he obtained his J.D. at Rutgers Law School-Newark, where he served as the Symposium Editor for the Race and Law Review, Vice President of Academic Affairs for the Association of Black Law Students, and ALAS representative. Vaughn is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity Inc., the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity founded for African American men.

Vaughn was selected for inclusion in the 2024 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America list in Land Use and Zoning Law.
